On 4 th March, the moviemakers and the cast of the film gave its fans a glimpse of the Brahmastra movie logo in the sky on the last day of Kumbh Mela. This is the first time ever where the filmmakers have involved drones and release the logo on such a huge scale on the occasion of Mahashivratri. They also during a puja on the banks of the Ganges at Prayagraj. Brahmastra movie shoots in Bulgaria, New York, and Mumbai, among other places.
Ayan Mukerji is the director of Brahmastra, who earlier also directed Ranbir’s two successful movies Wake Up Sid (2009) and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani (2013), Ayan also wrote the story and co-written the screenplay along with Hussain Dalal.
The film is bankrolled by the known filmmaker of Bollywood Karan Johar along with Ranbir, Hiroo Yash Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Namit Malhotra under the banner of Dharma Production in association with Fox Star Studios.
Makers recently announced that the film will hit the theatres on 9 Sept 2022 in 5 Indian Languages Hindi along with its dubbed versions Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. You can also experience the film in 3D and IMAX format.
Tumbadd (2018), Talvar(2015) fame Pankaj Kumar handled the cinematography, and A. Sreekar Prasad, Akiv Ali, and Manik Dawar are the editors, Pritam has given the music in the film.

Dimple Kapadia had no release this year but she appeared in two movies Angrezi Medium & Tenet in 2020. She will feature in upcoming movies like A Thursday & Pathan.
The moment the teaser starts, it unravels a lot of mystery, and at the same time, creates new questions. To get answers to everything, we would probably have to wait till September 9.
Spanning over a minute, the teaser starts with a dialogue between Ranbir and Alia’s characters, Shiva and Isha, where Shiva can sense some mystical changes happening in the world. In the next few seconds, we see a well-sculpted Ranbir Kapoor emerge from the fire, holding a ‘trishul’ forged from the fire as well.
On Wednesday, everyone related to the film, starting from Karan Johar to Alia Bhatt and even Amitabh Bachchan, took to Instagram to share the teaser and poster of Brahmastra on their respective handles.
In the video, lead actor Ranbir Kapoor was seen covered with fire with his arms stretched out. The clip had Amitabh Bachchan's voice-over on it, in which he said “Dharti ka kann kann kaap uthega jab iss yudh ka shanknath bajega. Anth ka yeh aarambh hai, jaag raha hai yeh Brahmastra hai (Every bit of Earth will shake when war will be declared. It is the beginning of an end. The supernatural weapons is awakening)."
After facing a delay for several years, Ayan Mukerji‘s highly-anticipated Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan finally has a release date. The film – the first part in a trilogy – is titled ‘Part One: Shiva‘ and features an ensemble star cast that also includes Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles.
The motion poster introduces Kapoor’s character, Shiva, who can visualize the rise of ‘the most powerful weapon’ in the universe at a time when things seem to be in jeopardy. This weapon is seen emerging from fire, resembling a trident (Lord Shiva’s divine symbol – the trishul), as Alia Bhatt’s voice questions the earthly Shiva’s identity in the background.
The Indian superhero film, co-produced by Dharma Productions, Fox Star Studios, Prime Focus and Starlight Pictures, will release theatrically on September 9, 2022. It’ll release in five languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.

Filming started in February 2018. Brahmastra has gone through an extended shooting in Bulgaria, Scotland, London, Newyork and Varanashi, India.
Initially, the team of Behmastra planned to release it on Independence day 2019. Then pushed to Christmas and again pushed to Summer 2020. Due to incomplete production and VFX work pushed to Christmas 2020. But Due to Covid-19, The film still has not been released. If released in theatres, it will have a multi-language release. It will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada.
It is going to be a trilogy with Brahmastra Part one the first part of the series. The Brahmastra also Stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Nagarjuna in key roles. And Shahrukh Khan in a cameo appearance. It is written and directed by Ayaan Mukherji. The film was announced by Karan Johar in 2017 on Twitter. With the revelation that It is going to be a trilogy and that it will be released within 10 years.
Apart from The Intern, Deepika Padukone will be seen sharing screen space with her real-life husband Ranveer Singh in the sports drama 83, where she will be playing the role of Kapil Dev’s wife Romi Bhatia. Deepika Padukone also has the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathan and actioner Fighter in her kitty, where she will play the lead alongside Hrithik Roshan.
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan has Chehre, Jhund and Brahmastra lined up for release.
While other filmmakers are on a release date announcing spree, Brahmastra's team is yet to block a date.
Initially, it was to hit the theaters in August 2019 and then was shifted to December the same year.
Then came 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic, and Ranbir's father Rishi Kapoor's demise. After all these, budget problems cropped up.
Now, the film's release is eternally shrouded in mystery.
Ever since its inception, the film has created a lot of hype among the audience.
Notably, it was in 2011 that Mukerji came up with the idea of this film and it soon became his "most ambitious" project.
Produced by Karan Johar, this film also marks Dharma Productions' entry into the world of sci-fi.
Mukerji and Kapoor, among others, are co-producing this film.

DON 3: This superhit action thriller franchise will get its third installment soon.
