rrr is a period drama set in india in the 1920s that follows the inspirational journey of two indian freedom warriors, alluri sitarama raju and Komaram Bheem. "All of them are director's actors, yet their approach to acting is absolutely different," SS rajamouli noted recently. If I had to compare tarak with Charan, tarak remembers everything. He remembers lines, all of our previous chats, and every narration I gave him. By the time he gets to the shoot, he already knows what he has to deliver and I don't have to tell him. And nine times out of ten, I don't have to tell him or correct him. He simply gives whatever is required."
"However, with Charan, it's a very other storey," the rrr director added. He clears his head of all clutter and transforms into a blank sheet of paper. Rajamouli claimed during the promotion of the malayalam version of rrr that he revised the storyline of rrr at the last minute. The acclaimed director goes on to say that he told the stars a quadrangular love storey, which they adored. But, after his wife, Rama, informed him that no one would expect a love tale from him, rajamouli rewrote the storey and turned it into a period drama, and he hasn't looked back since.
